An Honorary Degree, also known as “Honoris Causa” (Latin for “for the sake of honor”), is a prestigious academic recognition awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the fields of theology, ministry, Christian leadership, or biblical education. Unlike earned degrees, an honorary degree is conferred without the completion of traditional academic coursework, as it acknowledges a person’s outstanding achievements, lifelong service, and impact in advancing the Kingdom of God.
At Mobile Bible School (MBS), this program honors individuals whose lives exemplify strong faith, leadership, and dedication to biblical principles, serving as an inspiration to future generations of Christian leaders
Conferment Process for Honorary Postgraduate Degree
Eligibility:
Only the Founder of MBS, Doc Rhoderick de Vera (DMin) and his advisers are qualified to confer an honorary graduate and postgraduate degree.
Curriculum Vitae (CV) – A detailed account of academic, ministry, and professional background.
Latest Formal Picture – A recent photograph in professional attire.
Diplomas and Certificates – Copies of earned academic credentials.
Conversion Testimony – A written account of your journey to faith in Christ.
Ministry Testimony and Achievements – Documented contributions and accomplishments in ministry.
Fundamental Beliefs/Statement of Faith – A personal declaration of your core biblical beliefs, affirming your alignment with Mobile Bible School’s doctrinal values.
Submission: Send all required documents via email to the designated MBS address.
Evaluation: Submitted documents will be reviewed for completeness and authenticity.
Final Approval: Confirmation of conferment will be communicated via email.

Dr. Rocky Flores Undangan is a distinguished physician, educator, and leader in both the medical and theological fields. Holding a Doctor of Medicine from Mindanao State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Transformational Leadership from Northwestern Christian University, Florida, USA, he has dedicated his life to advancing healthcare, education, and ministry. His extensive experience includes serving as a medical director, occupational health consultant, and faculty member in various institutions.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Undangan is deeply committed to Christian ministry, holding a Master in Divinity and serving as a mission minister, where he integrates faith and service in his profession.
