Rhoderick Alcaide De Vera

Pastor | Theologian | Missionary | Educator | Founder of Mobile Bible School

Dr. Rhoderick Alcaide De Vera was born in Marikina City on October 31, 1983. From childhood, he actively participated in the IRM (IEMELIF Reform Movement) in Tañong, Marikina City. He was together with his mother, Glendora De Vera, and his father, Nicasio De Vera. They faithfully nurtured him in Christian faith and service. Multi awarded in drawing since elementary. He also demonstrated exceptional artistic ability, receiving multiple awards in drawing during his elementary years.

In 1993, he moved with his parents to San Mateo, Rizal, where he spent his formative years. He pursued higher education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). He entered college in 2000 and enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. From 2001 to 2004, he continued his studies at PUP under the Bachelor of Science in Interior Design program.

In 2005, he made a life-defining decision. He chose to leave the comfort of city life. He fully committed himself to God’s call as a full-time missionary. This marked the beginning of a journey of faith and service that he continues to walk to this day.

By God’s grace, he has been pastoring Haven of Worship – Alalay Grande since 2007. He faithfully shepherds the congregation. He equips believers for kingdom work. He also serves as the National President of Haven of Worship Churches in the Philippines, overseeing 17 local churches nationwide.

During the 2020 pandemic, his passion for biblical education led him to start teaching online. As the burden for equipping believers grew, he founded Mobile Bible School Inc. in 2023, officially registering it with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the Philippines. This online institution provides flexible, self-paced theological education to train and equip future church leaders.

With over two decades of experience, he has planted 7 churches and pioneered 2 churches. He has directed youth camps since 2009. Through these efforts, he has influenced countless lives for Christ. His dedication to theological training was clear. He served as a professor at the International College of Mission and Theological Seminary from 2006 to 2019. There, he helped shape future ministers of the Gospel.

In this digital age, I use digital technology intentionally. I employ innovative media to teach and train believers. I also disciple and connect them beyond geographical boundaries.
